We try to stay away from buzzwords and management speak at Chronos. If you take a look around our website, you won’t find our ‘mission or vision’, ‘philosophy’ or ‘values’. And although that’s how we like it, that isn’t to say that we don’t have a strong culture and a shared set of values here at Chronos.
In fact, the business was founded on the basis of the shared values between our founding partners Tim and Matt. After working together daily for several years, the pair realised that they shared a similar approach to their work. With aspirations that aligned, they formed Chronos in 2019.
You may have seen our tag line, ‘About Time’, on some of our marketing materials. Tim came up with the mildly humorous play on words early on. We like to think it represents us well, short and sweet, to the point, a laid-back approach, but with one core specialism. Time.
Delay analysis is the focus of our business and we do it well. At Chronos Consult, we pride ourselves on our experience. We work meticulously to provide robust, factual delay analysis reports which our clients can rely upon.
We also know the importance of keeping your edge and staying up to date. This can be tricky for expert witnesses. To be in this position, you need a lot of experience behind you. In fact, between us, our small team has over 100 years experience in the construction industry. However, we’re very alert to the risk of falling behind with the latest developments and new technologies.
We work hard to stay ahead, continually investing in new technology and developments in delay analysis. The team is encouraged to continue to develop new skills and stay up to date with best practice in dispute resolution.
We also ensure we keep our hand in on live projects, providing live project planning support to a range of clients. That way, we are able to ensure we know what’s happening on site, what the latest technologies being employed are, and what risks and challenges our clients are facing on a daily basis.
Over the last two years the business has grown and so has our team. As it has done so, we have looked to bring on team members who share these values with us. Hard workers, who care not so much about the hours put in but the quality of the end result. We now have offices in London and Glasgow, and are working on projects all over the UK and across the world.
